Site5 Help

I am looking at getting some new hosting. I have three sites and at the moment each one has its own hosting through fasthosts. This seems ludicrous! I want to have one hosting package that will manage all three sites/domains. With Site5 can I do this with their Shared Plan or do i need the Multi-site or Reseller - cannot really see the difference between Shared and Multi-site...

Thanks!

Re: Site5 Help

At the minute I'm only their 5 dollar deal and you have these domain pointers which allow you to effectively host a whole bunch of sites with different domain and it looks (to the user) as though as though you are viewing www.secondarydomain.com or www.secondarydomain2.com but in reality you are viewing www.maindomain.com/secondarydomain or www.maindomain.com/secondarydomain2. This is perfectlly fine if you are managaing all those sites. You only need the multi site plan if you want a completely separate admin panel for each site, so basically if the sites are your own then stick with the standard plan but if they are client sites or being hosted for others then take out the multi-site plan.

Pete.

Re: Site5 Help

But the reseller plan is the best plan in my opinion. You receive a WHM to manage all of your clients space and bandwidth. Then each client receives a cpanel....very nice...love it!
