Photoshop Text HELP urgent

hey ppl when i try open a picture i made and try type text on it when i save it, it wont let me i change size to 72pt but it stays so small so when i zoom it, it just looks like lines has anyone got any suggestions so wat i tried was uninstall it from program files then i removed the adove foilder from program files and then i removed it from registry and reinstalled still the same but if i got an image form the net and tried it TEXT work sperfect i cna do anything on it but with the images i have and i want to change i cant please help me A.S.A.P

I've heard of that things like happening in pirate copies sometimes.
If yours is pirated, you're stuffed.

Working on the assumption it isn't, and we might be able to fix it, what is the file extension of the image you want to alter?

Okay, and what's the current image size (what's it reported as in PhotoShop)?

its 600 width and 450 height thats in pixels m8

Been playing around all afternoon trying to re-produce this and failed miserably. Dunno what it is m8.
Have you reset it back to the install settings?

Goto "Help/Photoshop Help" then click "Index" and look up "Reset" in the list.

I had to do it once about a year ago and I don't think I used any of the options there but they may help you.

well m8 wat i was trying to was make an action and then with that action put it on my images so no1 can steel me pics of my site but then as i ahve Image Ready CS2 aswell i didnt realise you can do actions in there so had to do them manually and i finally did wat i wanted but it will would bve great if i can find out the problem thanx for all ur help as well mate i will give ya a good rep

Isn't ImageReady CS2 bundled with PhotoShop CS2?
Actions are a feature, and possible, in both programmes.

If you can do something manually in either, you could record your own 'action' in order to repeat the process simply in future.

yes mate ImageReady CS2 is bundle that comes with photoshop but what your saying i can record actions in ImageReady CS2 but not photoshop because of my TEXT problem

Ahhh, I see.
Your particular problem aside, it's possible to use actions in PS or IR.

yuh it is because in ImageReady CS2 Takes ages but still cant get Photoshop to work

Is it possible to completely uninstall it (and all related files) then re-install from fresh?
If it asks at any point if you wish to keep such-and-such a file or configuration, say, "NO!". lol

the steps i went through mate was i uninstalled from Add/Remove Programs then when iot was removed i removed the adobe photoshop folder from Program files and then i went to registry and removed files form there 2 and still not work so only thing i can think of is restore pc back couple of days to whyen it was working

Pt is directly related to dpi I believe. If the image dpi is set to a really high number, the text will be correspondingly miniscule. What dpi is the image?
