People please Critique me on how this looks. I made it to look simple, I wasn't trying to do anything on a complex scale just yet. Give me a rating based on a 1-10 Ratio. Thanks !!!

How it looks depends on what it's intended use is really.

As it is;
4/10 (?)
The chevrons look a little odd with their gradients going in opposing directions.
Maybe you copied one and rotated it for a second version(?).
I would have flipped it horizontally instead of rotating it.
I wouldn't have made the blue outer glow so heavy.
Needs to be lighter and less opaque.
I might have had it white nearer the disc fading to dark blue to make it appear there's a light source behind it and some of the light is escaping around the edge.

There's a whole lot more you could do to this image to make it look better with a little more knowledge and practice.
Are you using PhotoShop7?

I just had a go at it myself for a few minutes.
Not suggesting this is any better or worse than your efforts.
It's a different variation on your existing theme.

To me it reminds me of back when I was just learning photoshop. It's ok, but it does come across as very amateur. Have a look around the web at other people's graphics, on places like www.cssbeauty.com, etc.
