I'm trying to create a simple text box in Photoshop but when I create it, it automatically puts the font in italics, which I don't want.
I've checked that the font is 'regular' in a couple of places, how can I fix this? |

Re: Photoshop headscratcher
Firstly, this should really be in the Graphic forum.
If you only have the particular font stored in italic on your harddrive with no regular version it can only produce it in italic form. I use PS-8 (CS):- When I am using the Type Tool, at the far right of the toolbar is a button to toggle the Character and Paragraph palettes. Click on this so the palette opens. If it isn't already, select the 'character' tab. The second line up is a row of "T" 's in different positions. Check that the itallic version is not over-riding anything else you're doing. In the top of the palette, next to the font type, check that it is showing as 'regular'. Let me know if this helps. Last edited by Legacy_Staff; Jun 21st, 2006 at 10:06. |
