Application to create moving tab

I wonder what software on Open Source is used for creating the moving tabs on top and at bottom of following website;

Thanks for your advice. I got it. Its name is "marquee tag". Without the correct term it is difficult to search on Internet.


I came across another technology before "broadcasting on banner" widely used by Finance companies.

Bloomburg is an example;

www.bloomberg.com

They are continuously broadcasting finance news on top and bottom banners. The technology is available on Open Source. I found them on Internet. Unfortunately I forgot its technical term. Have you had any idea? TIA

Almost all available proprietary technologies you can find their equivalent on Open Source. In fact many proprietary technologies came from Open Source via acquisition. Even those advanced technology on CRM, BI, SC, etc. you can find their replacement on Open Source.

Example : SC - Statistical Computing

Proprietary software
SPSS

Open Source software
PSPP
http://www.gnu.org/software/pspp

R-Project.
http://www.r-project.org


R-Project is the most advanced Open Source technolgy on SC far better than the above 2.


10 year ago I ran proprietary software. Now I'm running 100% Open Source application. In Open Source World we help each other.
