Graphic Mascot?

Hi Everyone!

I Was Reading This Post On Smashing Magazine Website

And As I Really Enjoy Drawing, Using My Graphics Tablet, I Decided To Make A Website Mascot! As Alot Of Companies Are Incorporating Them Onto There Websites.

But I Was Wondering A Few Things:

1)Would You Suggest Using It On My Main Website (Portfolio), Because Is It Unproffesional Or Not?

2)What Mascot Should I Create? A Human?, Animal? What, I Am Having A Brain Block Right Now....To Help Out, My Website Is Called, CF Designz, So..

Any Feedback Would Be Greatly Received!

as for what to draw, well i guess that depends on how you want your clients to perceive you.

can you post a link to yur current site so that we can have some inspiration, or are you thinking of re-designing in line with the new mascot?

I checked out that website, and Yes, I want something like that, but I want my character/drawing, to change different poses on each page you see.

But I really don't know what to draw that would make it make my company's website look good and professional still!

My company/website is still under construction, because I feel a mascot would be a great addition. Because I have bought my domain name, but just haven't bought a hosting package yet.

Soo Any more ideas into what kind of character I should be drawing :\
