Fun little design contest

Hey all! Nice forum you have here. I thin I'll be around here as I continue to develop my website.
Anyways, I'm having a design contest for my website http://www.fingel.comI need a new graphic for the top (take one look and you will know why) The top 3 submissions get to place a banner ad on my site right next to the new graphic, with the 1st place getting 50% rotation time and second and third getting 25%. The ads will be up for 3 months.
Even if you don't have a website or know someone else that could use the free publicity, if you would enjoy entering the contest please do so! Nothing too serious, Something fun and artistic would do just fine, whatever your style is.

And how many users/pageviews does your site have? I mean.. An avarage logo costs about 50/75$, but will I get worth that amount on relevant exposure on your site?

Not to be a prick or anything.. just wondering..

The site was created 4 days ago, and so far has recieved 2,500 unique hits and 4,885 total hits.

Like I mentioned this isn't supposed to be anything professional, just thought since I am giving complete artistic freedom it could be something that someone who likes graphics design might do in their free time for fun.

I'm at school but I'll possibly give it a try tomorrow, since I don't get out of school till 10 pm.

This might be a really dumb questions but I'm going to ask it anyway.
What is the site about? I see some pretty funky looking dogs on the site but I'm sure that's not what it's about!

Well, thats a good question. The site is only a few days old, and it really doesn't have much of an identity yet. Its created by my friend and I, and we post articles that we write and other misc stuff like howtos. So I guess you can say its a blog... we will just keep filling it with content but as time goes on whatever gets the most positive response the site will probably specialize in that direction.

You guys seem like a pretty cool bunch. Do any of you have any suggestions or advice? Anything helps at this point, its both of our first site.

Post your site in the "Free website critique" section for some advice and.. well.. critique
