Tried something new

I tried a new orb effect, lemme know what you think. IMO, it came out pretty cool. I think this would make like a cool header/banner?

The orb looks pretty good yeah! Hope you don't use that font though, really ruins it.

The orb shadow seems UNREAL! I mean the black shadow that goes horizontally underneath the orb. It looks like it is not suppose to be there

Well, I've probably been a little about graphics since last march (I think). Every now and then I can't get off the computer though, and that's how it's been with templates maybe for 3 or 4 months. Designing templates has helped me develop my skills the most. I just go to google.com and search for orbs, glossy effects, or whatever I'm looking for, learn some new way of doing something, and I incorporate it into text and other things. Or some things I just kept on messing around with effects and figured it out on my own. But if you ever have any questions on how I may have done a gloss effect, or shadow, or refelection, or whatever! feel free to ask.

Thanks for the offer Precyse and good effort there with all your goggling things...
I have tons of Photoshop bookmark with me and gigs of video tutorial in my laptop.
So basically what I mean is, keep up the good work and don't stop learning. Who knows you might be a graphic designer some day...

I'm going to school to develop video games, but not in the graphics department
