Logo Help
After my somewhat unsuccessful attempt at a logo
http://www.webforumz.com/graphics-fo...go-attempt.htm I decided to ask the experts this time. My site is http://www.simplyfreeware.co.uk and i decided to change the image on the home page. The site is concerned with freeware, do you have any ideas of what I could do? I'll attach the homepage image thanks for any help

Re: Logo Help
That's a nice banner, but no logo, if that's what you are saying you changed is the logo. I think that images works well for a banner. But Where you have your text at the top left, "Simply Freeware", you could have a logo right next to that. Since I'm not working on my template at the moment (Cuz no one has commented!) I'll go ahead and have a shot at creating a logo for your site so maybe you can get an idea of a logo? (If you don't mind that is)

Re: Logo Help
You mean get rid of the text and add a logo there, (or next to it?)
And if you don't mind then please go ahead thanks again

Re: Logo Help
I mean put a logo next to the title or your website/business.
And sorry this took so long. I had to go pick up a friend from school. This is just a little example. I know the text isn't very "business" styled but yeah. ![]() EDIT: Of coarse you can resize it. |

Re: Logo Help
Pretty snazzy.
Was that made in Maya or something? Or just really good photoshop?

Re: Logo Help
Nothing is necessary. I might need a site coded though! haha. If you want a different text though, I'll change it. Infact, just lemme change it because that text wont go with your theme. I'll get at it right now.
@ Alex I used photoshop EDIT: @unitedcraig - Did you want me to just size it right now? Give me the dimensions. Last edited by Precyse; Jan 18th, 2008 at 23:10. |

Re: Logo Help
![]() It's saved as a .PNG so you have a transparent background. Just incase you decide to change your background color to your site or something. If you have PS7 I can send you the .psd file. EDIT: Demensions: 100x94 Last edited by Precyse; Jan 18th, 2008 at 23:35. |

Re: Logo Help
Cool, I'll send you the .psd if you want. You know the basic right? how to just get into the blending options of a layer and do a color overlay? Cuz thats basically all you would have to do is overlay a color over the circles because they are all seperate layers, and the gloss and shadows are all seperated too so you wont even have to touch those.
