[SOLVED] Major Help Needed

I have produced a ticket for a charity event that will be sold to thousands of people. It is in jpg format and i used paint.net to edit it.

Its dimensions are 442 by 242
and a file size pf 115kb

Iv tried several things but im running out of time.
How can i increase the resolution vastly! to allow the printing people to mass print it!?

If you want to increase the pixel size of the image, there's an array of editors that should do it. Try GIMP for starters (it's free)

I have tons of experience with print design . You will NOT be able to use what you have. You will have to start over.
Make sure the NEW graphic is in a resolution of 300dpi. Then whatever size you make it will have the proper dots per inch for printing.

The one you have now will not work and you just can't change the resolution. It's a matter of building in a 300 resolution to begin with.
They usually want a psd file or corel draw file (.ai) but I have managed to make my graphics in lesser known graphics programs and send them as pdf files.

Illustrator is perfect for this I believe?

Yes a vector program is best but a regular graphics program still can work at times as long as they allow you to set the resolution.

Thanks guys, i took Lchads route, and started over at a higher resolution, was the only way. Used a program called STOIK Smart Resizer to double check at the start this time!
