Re: logo crit

Number one... It looks like NO2 reads as "Pal Crley" and NO£ looks like "PAU Curley".

Re: logo crit

If you made the "L" more distinguishable in Paul for the 3rd it would be perfect.
The first is too dull and second is ridiculously unreadable.

Re: logo crit

#1 is my favorite because it's the easiest to read. I like the upper and lower case as well.

#2 is not really legible and #3 doesn't look like Paul.

I like the two colors however I always wonder how that will work in print.
Especially newspaper.

Re: logo crit

Also take a good look into the spacing between letters. In the first one (my favourite) the A and the U are barely touching, but furtheron the E and the Y are pretty much merged..

Re: logo crit

thanks for the comments

the logo was rushed a bit and the kerning wasn't polished at all. I did like the 2nd purely for the fact that it make the type look like shapes rather than straight typography. anyway, its not got a good review so i will take your comments onboard.

working on the kerning for the others, however i feel the 1st can be a bit boring. may work on the angles of some lettering.

i can't seem to get the 3rd sitting nicely. the l always seems to look out of place.

anyway i'll work on some things and get back to you

Re: logo crit

I like the colors in general, but number 1 seems to be the one easiest to read... I actually like the current logos (from your second post) better. Maybe you can try playing around with them as well.
