Cheap Photoshop Book....

Hey, one of my projects with the school I am working with is to find a good, CHEAP photoshop 7.0 book. I have found a couple at BAM, but nothing that was anything good for teaching with. If anyone has any suggestions I would muchly appreciate them. Thanks.

It depends what you want to learn specifically...

Photoshop can be used for Photography, print, web, general graphics, insane art pieces... you name it.

Some of the books focus on one part, others focus specifically on the features of photoshop as, only through playing with the features can you learn how to do lots of different effects yourself, so most 'effect' books that focus on individual effects are useless. Sure you'll know how to make that one effect, but you won't actually learn what the tools you use do, so you can't create much else...!

I suggest that you play around with the program, use online tutorials and maybe checkout the odd book... but make sure you see what's in it first.

Alright, I guess i'll do that... Yeah, I'm not teaching it, just picking out the book that the teacher who has never even used PS7 will be teaching... Also they are teaching Pinnacle Studio 9 and the teacher asked me how to connect the camera to the computer :sad:. How come our teachers don't know what they teach?
