Paint Shop Pro Image Problem

Hi

I've made a header image for my site in paint shop pro 9. Basic image, three images overlayed onto one big one with their opacities tuned down.

When I put this in a webpage, the image doesn't display.... no broken link image, just no image.

When I investigated by viewing the source code that the browser was using, I found that the following tag was removed!!

HTML: Select all
<img src="banner.gif" width="650" height="180">
Why would this happen!!

It has to be the image that is the problem as I have other images on the site which display just fine. It is also not the only image on the site which was made using PSPro9.

I just don't get it!

Re: Paint Shop Pro Image Problem

Just tried importing that image into flash and publishing it as a flash movie (which doesn't actually move, but anyhow).

The same thing happened..... the tag (this time much biger one):

HTML: Select all
<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,29,0" width="650" height="180">
<param name="movie" value="banner.swf">
<param name="quality" value="high">
<embed src="banner.swf" quality="high" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="650" height="180"></embed>
</object>

was removed.

What in the name of christ is going on?!

I thought maybe the problem was that the image was put in a cell which itself was a merged cell, tried making a basic two cell table with the image in one of them, same thing again!

PLEASE HELP ME!!

Re: Paint Shop Pro Image Problem

I am hand coding.... I despise Dreamweaver and Frontpage so I just use notepad. Takes one f**k of a lot longer but I get exactly what I want.

My only thought at the moment is to go back and remake the image in PSPro9, maybe there is something wrong with the image itself.
