New Website Template

Hi everyone!
sorry if i am in the wrong forum, but didn't know where else it should go .
Well I have created a website template using adobe photoshop, it hasn't been coded as yet, and I just simply wanted to no what everyone thought about my design, baring in mind it is my first proper design, don't be too mean .
I created a template that would sell computer components.
I haven't completely completed the header, but am stuck on ideas what to put there, so any comments involving that would help me greatly
So your comments and improvements about my website template would be much appreciated

The layout in itself is not bad but the colors you used are just too bright in my opinion. Get a good color palette and stick with it.

Nobody will take your company seriously with the use of Comic Sans for font.

Thanks alot for the advice, any colours you suggest I change it to then?
or do u have any websites that could help me with colours, because that is the difficultest choice, is the colour scheme.

iv used them 2 links quite alot and iv actualy come up with some good'n's aswell

The basic layout could work but at the moment it looks very flat, boring and of an amateur standard. Firstly, you need to fill the space where the girl is with something, at the moment there is far too much empty space there. Next thing I'd say is that the whole website is very flat, try looking for some tutorials on how to make glass style icons or something. The menu could do with some contrasting colours and the text needs to be made easier to read. The gradients also look bad, you should read up on some colour application, I normally start with a tone and then slightly darken or lighten it when I use gradients, most other gradient styles look tacky.
