curves
I'm having a problem in Photoshop CS.
Any curved lines are very pixelated, to the point of being blocky. I've tried using blur and levels to smooth them but this just seems to make it worse. I've tried drawing at large resolutions and then reducing to a manageable image size. I've also tried increasing the pixels per inch/cm, to no avail. It must be something I'm doing, or not doing, or a setting I've missed, as it's only affecting images I'm creating rather than the display of existing external images. Once you have a 'pixelated' line you can't do much else with it. It just exagerates the edges into huge blocks, or spikes. Any ideas on how to get a proper 'round' line, folks? |

is your image in RGB mode when your working with it? Working with GIF images tends to produce this problem due to the limited color palette.

Yep, using RGB but the problem's with jpg's or gif's.
I know it's not my display because I can see curves ok, just not the one's I make (lol). Wild guess at something in my basic setting's being wrong but I can't figure what. |
