Comment the Logo

I’ve been asked to do a logo for a company called LD Travel. Comment on what is needed to be fixed or remade. Thank you.

Ok, well the LD part is good IMO but that palm tree I really dislike it. I am not sure if it is the fact that it is soo tall or if it is just so heavy at the top that I don't like it...

I'm not a fan of the font you used for the word Trave but when I shrunk your logo down (to printing size) I was quite suprized because I liked it. I messed around with the palm tree as well and I just couldn't be happy with that one. Just one man's opinion.

Thanks for your reply. With the palm tree I tried to show that the logo has to do with traveling and vacation. Just a thought i had. Thanks again.

A logo should be really easy to read and in my opinion the LD is not easy to see.
It could be Travel LD if you didn't know.
The word travel is ok with the palm tree except the trunk is a little too tall and a bit bushy I think. It's a tree on steroids! :laughbounce3:
I like the green color a lot! Blue would be nice too since travellers usually think of oceans!
