Sorry for the millions of questions but you've been sooo helpful so far...
why is it that when i create a beveled button in fireworks and export it as a GIF, i can get my effect once imported into flash but the entire white back ground from the un-used space in fireworks also imports? how do get a transparent background. |

ok, i think this should work...
instead of going to export, goto export preview (ctrl + shift + x), select Format: Gif.. Below the color pallete, in the selection box, "No Transparency" will probably be selected. Choose "Index Transparency" then from the color pallete above, select the color that you would like showing as transparent - usually white. Click export. Sorry for the lack of good explanation. |
