VERY stupid question about tiled backgrounds
Um.. how do you make them if you already have an image with the perfect color & texture you want to use? I found tons of stuff online about creating them using noise filters and the like, but I really want to use this image, part of it anyway.
I don't normally use tiled backgrounds... so I've no clue about this. Thanks. |

So you want to make part of this image work as a tiled background? Then you simply need to make the image repeat in some way. Without seeing the image you have it's difficult to make suggestions as to how to do that!

Yeah, I just wasn't sure how to do it in PS. I figured it out though---offset by about 40% did the trick, with no repeating edges (that made motion trail-like effects that looked pretty cheesy.
