graphics loading funny - jumping

Please look at the above site. I'm wondering why the graphics appear to "jump" when each page is loaded. Is there any way to make the page load more smoothly?

Shouldn't the browser be caching the graphics, anyway, once I go to another page?

please help! This is a problem I'm encountering on other sites.

It loads fine for me.

The usual cause for graphics jumping, is when you forget to give them width and height attributes.

yeah, it loads strangely on my pc too.. But its such a quick jump that I had to reload it several times before I saw it. Rob is right. What it looks like is happening, is your pictures for your navigation are set up in a table with adjustable width. So when it loads the picture it actually adjusts to fit the picture's size therefore causing a jump. But if you specify their height and width then it will load that way and not jump.

Also, you can make your graphics a smaller file which will make them load so fast you wont see the jumping.
