I use ulead cool3d for 3d text. think there's a plugin for photoshop. check www.ulead.com

Well, you CAN do it that way, it's not what I suggest, but it can be done. Go get Swift 3d, there are free way's of getting everything, so look it up, there will be a generic somewhere out there, and download the free version of the generic. If it is 3d text you will surely get that with a free generic version.
