Question logos

This might sound stoopid ( ) 4 u guys, but can u tell me which software u use to design and make logos?

Photoshop, fireworks, pant, and if you want a logo that is vector art, flash. If you don't know what vector art is I suggest you follow this link...

If you need a better definition, please let me know, I would be glad to explain what vector art is...but I don't want to hear any flash cracks Ryan...lol

Fireworks is the pwnt. I use it for everything from web site design to icons.

Not sure but I have heard upsetting rumors that Adobe is going to kill it off. That would suck much.

I use fireworks for everything, and only have a basic knowledge of Photoshop...That would suck!!

I have extensive use of and training in photoshop ( 3 levels of formal training, 6+ years doing photo restorations for large format print) but I haven't used it since version 7. However while Photoshop is the absolute best for raster images, modifications, adjustments and corrections its vector ability, etc as far as design goes is sub par to Fireworks.

No, fireworks while it does have some html, javascript functions etc it is not a web site builder nor should it really be used as such. It is however a great design tool.

30 day free trial fully functional. And if you are a student etc you can get one hell of a deal on the whole studio.
