Quote:
There are numerous presets and material collections and scenes in Carrara. Just find the Shaders in the browsers and drag and drop one of the metals. The thing is, it's not only about the shader, there is also another side to it: the environment in whcih your object is which carries that shader. Metallic surfaces look best in the context of some environment they actually reflect or visually interact with. So even if the backdrop is a plain color like white, you'll want to load a background which can be a gradient or an image (or even an animation) and allow for it to reflect on the reflective surfaces, be they metallic, plastic, glass, etc... You might find many resources and links to Carrara tuttorials here: www.thebest3d.com/carrara |
