New Identity

I have been working on a new identity for myself (For several reasons I won't cover ) and would like some feed back on the logo concept.

Re: New Identity

I like the look of everything in it's own right and working together... objects, text, colours..., except the flower (?).
It's not strong enough and not working for me, I'm afraid.

Re: New Identity

Remove the background, and the border.

Just have the flower and text sitting transparent (or even add a highlight behind making the gray background look a little metallic. Would look professional.

Jah that is just a splash page till I get the site designed but I get your points. The actual site will look nothing like that page does currently. Still playing with the logo device. We shall see what comes to mind and how it evolves heh. Blah the hard part.

Re: New Identity

i think the flower could work mo. i think perhaps revisit it. think about the curves you have and try to make them a bit more organic. that particular background does take away a bit. the blurry thing looks sort of accidental. something would be good... just not that.

also your kerning is a bit off on your main logo type.

Re: New Identity

It is already in a redesign as I work on the sites layout, I just had to throw something up fast. The type used in the logo is no longer in use anyway. It is all being smoothed out. Thanks for the input!
