Logo Opinions for A Snooker Blog

Hi Guys,

My latest project is a snooker blog. I have made 3 logos, but I'm not sure if I am heading down the right road with my designs. Opinions welcome

Re: Logo Opions for A Snooker Blog

I think maybe a vector version(illustrator) would be nice make it look a little bit cartoony as most logos are made vector. And choose a nicer font have a look around dafont.com. With abit of tweaking Im sure it will be a top notch logo .

Re: Logo Opions for A Snooker Blog

Jack, you need to steer away from using other people's images as part of your logo.
It looks very unprofessional and thoughtless.

Have a look around here to see what a logo is meant to be like - custom made. I think you're well capable of doing something nice - but you just don't have the right ideas.

Ed.

Because they're not logos. They're pictures.

Re: Logo Opions for A Snooker Blog

The first of your last post is very good but the aligning is off and it seems you coloured the blue ball, but left a bit of green.

Re: Logo Opions for A Snooker Blog

I like the last one (of your last post) but as a header. Too big for a logo that you can place on the site anytime you rebuild.

@samducker: Vector means the image can be resized anyway and still keep its original look, right? (I forgot)

Re: Logo Opions for A Snooker Blog

yeah pretty much most company's use vector logos because there simple and can be resized without loss of quality the most used professionals app for vector is illustrator flash is also vector. And just to clear up photoshop is not vector.

Re: Logo Opions for A Snooker Blog

Would it work to make a design in PS, save it, then re-save in illustrator? Would that work to make it a vector image?
