Also, you could go onto Google Images and search for the likes of "3D Painting Brush" .. 3D Logos are all the range now and are easy to find on the internet for free.

err... need to be careful of copyright there Dean, just because google index's it doesn't mean you can use it for free.

True, i usualy follow the Images original URL to find if the image is copyrighted first.

But its fine for just testing and messing around. (Y)

How would you be sure that the image isn't copywritten? Even if you do trace the image back to the site it came from?

As for the logos, they just need more of a modern look IMO. With the graphics programs nowadays, it's not too hard to make a descnt looking logo, so expectations are just that much higher I suppose. Just lern to use your gradient tools, pen and path tools, and the wand or marquee tools (if yours using PS). Those are the main tools I use to atleast create my own curves or to put a gloss on a surface.

I always pay a guy to design a logo if I really need it cause I am lame at logo creation... Well at all graphics really. I am really good at coding, editing photos, and eventually designing websites, but as far as logo's go, I just go hire a good designer. Unfortunately, my logo designer skipped the state on me to be with his mommy. Go figure, so I am looking for another one close to me At the moment :P
