Export From Photoshop -->> Fireworks

Is there an option in Photoshop in which I can export, with layers and effects and appearance intact, to Fireworks?

There must be an export option or something. But I can't find the export to fireworks option...

I hope its like the fireworks -->> photoshop export button... that lets you select having appearance over editability and editability over appearance or custom........

I doubt there is such a feature. This exists in Fireworks purely because Photoshop is the industry leader. Fireworks is not.

You could try exporting as paths to illustrator assuming that Fireworks can use them? AI Illustrator files are fairly well supported by many apps.

Either that or you could search around and maybe find a plugin that'll let you do this, as I'm sure someone else might have had the same sort of problem.

Alternatively, you can look at it the other way - What can you do in Fireworks that you can't do in Photoshop? Maybe there's a plugin for Photoshop that'll let you do that?

Its much easier to slice and to add rollovers in Fireworks.... I need photoshop because of its styles and its many filters. What I hate is that it is very hard to get around Photoshop and Photoshop really gets in my way of what I want to do. Maybe that's because I'm not used to it. Oh well!
