I had to delete photoshop to install Medievil Total war 2 (omg shock) ... not that bad i only really use it at work.
Anyway, i want a go... so im downloading GIMP  Prepare yourselves for the full force of my crappy designs !!!

I think ur first logo is not bad.
)And the first rule of any logo - it must be vector not raster . Ok good luck

Should be pen & paper, then vector, then raster.
