image maps

hey iv been playing around with photo shop cs2 and i was wonderin is there anyway to image map on there ?? its not me that wants to know btw its my girl i dont even no what an image map is

An image map in HTML is an image that has coordinates for different links. Is that what you mean?

i dun even know what an image map is lol she was sayin somthing about she want paint shop pro back becouse u can image maps on it or somin but i had a trial an it ran out so to shut her up i posted it on here

As far as I know, there is no such thing as image maps in PSP.

I'm not very good with Photoshop but i think there's a tool called 'slice'....
- maybe imageReady will do it as well - try googling around for the 'slice' tool anyway,

If you have dreamweaver, you can do an image within there....as far as CS2, I have no ideal.

Haha, I probably deserved it. That's true, it could be the slice too. Photoshop has it. It's basically lets you "cut up" your PSD file so you can export it was so many separate images. It's useful for web design, but I generally just use the marquee tool because it's just about as easy. If you're going to be exporting a lot of times, the slicing tools are nice, however.
