This Site just has its first and early release, ive been working on the scripts for quite some time, the design is all free templates, i was lucky enough to find a really good one. Unforuntaly i was unable to custimize my template more, but the site had to be released on time (school comes soon).

It may not make sense what the site is to you, probably because its really only meant to make sense to those who would understand it. However stupid that sounds, its a site thats designed around helping Video Game Modifications. It has a extensive, but not perfect user data system, users can customize there profiles with renders of their latest work and more. Modifications can also be registered, and as an advertsing tool i approve mods that look like the real thing to be able to post news on the frontpage. I figure this site will bring more attention to the "modding community" so that more mods release, and are supported by the gaming community more.

Feedback im looking for:
The biggest turnoff when you see the frontpage
and anything else you think is nessiary

I can't really understand what its all about and it seems kinda pointless but the logo at the top of the page is cut in half so you might want to fix that, I don't know why people arent helping you but that much is my critique.

I'm confused by your site too. It looks like a standard blog layout, not a freelance-type website.

The only thing I'm confused about is how the hell you can guys can be confused about this site.

I think it's well done. Layout and colors all function fine. No tables, all css. Just check your xhtml and css validation and fix those issues.

just because it says what it is doesn't mean it makes sense...It could say that it was a site about Corn and Why you should eat it, that is perfectly clear, but it doesn't make sense

You know what simcrazy... I really don't care what you want. I care what compumaniac wants because it's his thread. He doesn't need somebody saying his site is senseless when in reality it makes perfect sense. I see nothing remotely confusing about his site unless you just want to be thickheaded. In that case, I'm sure he just rather you stay clear of his site anyway.

Please, feel free to say whatever you want, but don't think because you are 14 you should some how be shielded from criticism. Quite the opposite actually. You haven't the life experience to be telling somebody their ideas are senseless. What are you basing this on? What knowledge have you gained within the 10 or so years that you could even speak or walk and maybe 3 or 4 years since your brain was able to process real thoughts. I could probably rattle off 50 or more things immediately that you have no idea even exist and would think are totally senseless, but without them the world wouldn't even operate.

Sorry to inform you of this, but you are incorrect. The internet has been so completely integrated in to the function of our society it would be extremely difficult to recoup if it just disappeared. In many cases, I see businesses that would be out of business if they didn't have broadband access where vital email messages are transmitted, sometimes hundreds a day. If the internet were to get shutdown, you would see the high paced society of today crash in total confusion.

Besides that, the very business of most everyone on this site would not exist! Web design?... what good would it be without the net! You know how many people would be flooding the advertising market? It would be insane!

Once again you show how your lack of life experience affects your judgement. It's nothing personal, just the facts of life!

Thats Enough! I'm within a gnats ass of closing this thread.
