Well, its also my first banner that I made for my site. I'm trying to keep everything simple and basic as to where I do have some restictions on site space and other situations and I just started building everything tonight so yeah I know the layout pretty much is lame but let me know what you all think of my banner that I made in Fireworks 8. i tried to make it creative like to match my site name. thanks !!!

Sorry, I had taken it down. Here is what it looked like plesae let me know what you think. Keep in mind I was trying to make it related to the word "Creative" Which was in my site title.



I have a different banner type thing up there now. I'm really unsure on what to do when making a banner or if I even need one for the type of site I'm making. Please let me know what you think about this one and the one that is up now. Thanks !!!

Oh, that's a bit loud! It would depend on the context it was put in... Graphically speaking I think it has been compressed ok.... I would have to see it in it's natural environment to give a full critique.

Also I think this is in the wrong forum...Graphics forum?

Just wondering if someone could give me a few suggestions or comments, maybe even some advice on how my site is going taking into consideration the following factors....

- I'm only 17 years of age
- I have only studied up on 3 basic things (HTML,CSS,XHTML)
- I have a job and have very little time to work on my site
- I just started on this new layout today July 04, 2006 around 12 in the afternoon
- I am the only one working on it
- All the power in my city went out for 3 hours today.
- I only have one good program (Fireworks)
- I wanted to keep the layout as simple as possible so that it would be easy for all age groups to access my website

With those things in consideration could some of you give me some advice or tell me anything that I am doing good, also let me know what you think of my layout with in mind that I want it simple enough that even a 10+ year old could access it easily and find things....

Please give me a verbal comment or suggestion and a rating of 1-10 so I know what I could change and what I could do to make it better. Thanks !!!

**Note - Yes, I know the links that I have up there do not work as of right now except for the ones in the main menu. I also need ot add more to the TOS just not to worried about all that write now.**

Try creating a layout in fireworks then slicing it up. At the moment you have created seperate areas which dont flow together. (Dont worry its what mostly every new web designer does at the beginning)
