What Is Blu Ray site

This is a single page site I've put together, thoughts appreciated

Overall clean site, but a little bit boring perhaps?

Thoughts:

• The "Find out more" looks like a tab, I the user tried to click it a couple of times to see what it did
• "Players", "Movie releases" and "Region code" - could these be separate tabs perhaps giving a user more information, links to recommended players / reviews?
• As an informational site it is very dark. While the blue and black work well together I am not sure if I as a user would spend a lot of time on this site due to the white on black text. I might be inlcined to use a lighter panel for the text (grey-ish perhaps?) and have black text on it. It would certainly make it look more professional and more informative.
• I would look also into the table and what you could do with it. Look at other similar technology sites such as Techcrunch or Engadget or Ars Technica and see how they display information and tables in a different way maybe?

Cheers Alex. There are some links at the bottom of the page for other pages of the site, I'm just getting some information together and then may integrate it properly into a full site, but those do have some information on other things.

I like the presentation, however I do feel that the links at the bottom seem like an after thought, like they don't lead to anything important. Perhaps you should make them large tabs near the top of the page, or at least large tabs at the bottom.

The 'Find out more...' tab attached to the google ads seems like it will lead me to more detailed information, but it's just adverts to buy stuff. Can you include more detailed information on the technology - how it works, the Blu-Ray laser, how it differs from DVD technology. An explanation of what the values in the table mean would be good, most of it is a mystery to me. That leads me onto another point - I've seen Blu-Ray information sites and pages before, is it really necessary to make another (which presently doesn't even go into as much detail as them)? The release schedule is interesting, but I suspect is also available online elsewhere.

As an information site, people may wish to use it for research and print it out - how is that going to look? It's not going to make the person very popular if they print out large black pages, and white on black is more difficult to read on paper than it is on screen. If you provide a 'print' button it could guide them to a printer-friendly version without the black background, with black text and no google ads.
