Can you have a look at my latest creation for me! I am particularly not happy about the nav bars... a bit too black I think... not sure though... i would be very grateful of any creative ideas!!

Re: sturtdirect.com
grrr spalsh page
Once I was in the site then I would suggest the following things to improve on
- you have no doctype declared - this is essential if you want your site interpreted correctly in the browser
- the red colouring is very strong and harsh, try toning it down. Check this Help me choose the right colors for my website to help you out
- you need to take advantage of semantic markup to help layout the page and improve onsite SEO <h1 - h4>,<ol>,<p>,etc
- this is such a simple layout, please try looking at CSS for tabless layout - Resources for learning how to use CSS for layout
- I don't see the point of having the time on your site. If I want to know the time I will look at my watch
I hope that helps a little

Re: sturtdirect.com
wow that is a nice site, and a huge improvement
the only thing that really lets it down is the navigation - it looks pap
if you manage to spruse this up a bit then you will have a great site.

Re: sturtdirect.com
scrap that, simplify the top nav by getting rid of the top and bottom borders, plus the top border on the content and it looks great

Re: sturtdirect.com
If you look at the attached I think it looks fine once you remove those top and bottom borders.
nice, simple, doesn't confuse the user and keeps with the look and feel of the site
it doesn't need to be anything more
