Please take a look at my site. I am currently a student of Internet Application Programmer student. This critique request is part of my eCommerce course requirement.

Some of the pages, links or buttons of my site are still not complete. They will have alert box or "Under construction" as a message.

Hi,

First off, the the logo is very pixellated, and I am not a fan of the logo in general, I would maybe think about a re-design of the logo.

Also, the links in the navigation look like the basic coloured links, keeping these is such a amateurish touch, change these to colours that fit in with your website. Maybe think about adding a simple border around the image, it looks like it was just placed there for no reason.

I think this is enough for you to think about

There are quite a number of things I can point out that are a bit of a problem and maybe a few pointers on where you should be heading. It doesn't mean your effort is all that bad however.

Here's a few things:

The main banner is not really that professional looking, now I understand that you may not have photoshop, may not know how to use it or simply don't have the cash to fork out to hire a developer, but somewhere along the line you'd really have to do something about it.

Colour scheme: I'd suggest you use a white background. Crackafaza mentioned that your links stick out like sore thumbs, that's partly true, however you can still make it look good if you make your background white and use complimentary colours.

A lil secret... Isn't it fun when you surf to a page and your eyes stall out trying to figure out which piece of text are hotlinks? That underlined blue and purple are valuable navigational cues in the Web jungle. If the page has multi-colored links or links that are not easily distinguishable, then this is another case where overriding the browser's settings should be punishable by intimate acquaintance with a flensing knife.

Big tip: In the future I'd recommend that you don't publish your website before ALL content is online and in tact. It gives a real bad impression, you're advertising your product already but you don't give people info about it yet. (I know you're probably only getting reviews for now but still).
