Re: New Recipe Site
its just a case of "a little help goes a long way"
i remember my first site and it was crap, worse than crap - i got some help from different people in places like this and i hunted stuff on the internet, but i still learnt - it just saved a hell of alot of time messing about learning how to do simple things, all ime trying to do is the same for other people

Re: New Recipe Site
yes you can ask about 2 sites in one thread and your logo is one part that i always think has to be your own because only you truely know what you want

Dude, That is a bad attitude to have towards web design!! It may get the job done in terms of looks but that's where it ends.

How do you do the margins auto thing?

http://www.hostm.com/css/ It will really help you as you are just starting out with CSS. Use this to play around with a style sheet for your site. It helped me loads in the beginning. In the CSS for your container div, just give it a left and right margin value of "auto". When playing around in the program you'll see what I mean. Enjoy.
