Hi Everyone,
as part of my ECommerce course curriculum at Algonquin College in Ottawa Canada, I have created an e-commerce site. Part of the course outline is to critique profession websites and have our websites critiqued. I've spent some time reviewing and critiquing some websites within this forum and feel confident I'm among professionals. I hope you will find some time to share some of your expertise to review my website with a second opinion. I look forward to hearing from you about any technical and content related issues. This request could be considered time sensitive due the nature of my academic calendar and I thank you for your promptness. http://acadunix.algonquincollege.com/~bela0188/ Cheers! Re: E-commerce website - request for comments
I must correct myself in my original post. I have reviewed some of the post in this forum but have yet to post some critiques. My apologies. - Jason

Validate your stylesheet, and acoid using tables.
Also you navigation changes place in the "about us" and "contact us". I think you need better definition between the different elements. |

Re: E-commerce website - request for comments
there's a big blank space to the right on ff in a 1024x768 monitor.
Couple of CSS errors, but the HTML is valid The logo has a slightly different color than the background of the site. the images in the product section are being resized in the browser, which not only leads to bad quality, but also REALLY long loading times. the entire design seems rather bland. the logo has Ariel text (or something that looks like it), and is sorta cheesy. The navigation is just a couple of normal links turned yellow. and there's also no seperation. Everything has pink as it's background, so you can't visually see where the content and logo and nav begin and end, you have to look at the text to find that out. (If that made any sense) CloudedVision
