Free CSS Remake

Hey im in the process of remaking my free css website. I would like your comments on the design so far. At the moment that is just the homepage design therefore no links work. I just want to make sure the general colour scheme and design is good before coding the other pages.

Oh image thumbnail will be resized properly when its fully coded.

i like it, the only tweaks i woul dmake are to the colour scheme. i think the gry background and the black footer don't fit in with the overall scheme, but this is a personal thing.

it all checks out on the validator too.

I like the design, the only thing i would note is the contrast on the roll over for the navigation links. I would make it a little more subtle.

Just my opinion, looking good though! =)

Thanks, I will change that along with header, top nav and possibly footer.
