Hi there,

I've listened to other people's ideas before and reshaped my portfolio site. I thought it would be a good idea, for potential clients to understand how they should plan their website. I've devoted a page to writing an action plan and another page to promoting a web site.

As always I am very greateful for the feedback.

Thank you all very much.

James

Re: Atmmultimedia

The only thing I would say is it's that dreaded word - 'texty'.

The article pages are good. Bam! Even with my notorious skim reading, I'm greeted with useful information, clearly laid out. Really good, and I'm sure of great use to/for potential clients.

But like I say, it would be nice to see some kind of graphic or image for the home page. Something that fits well though. It's better having no image than one that looks as in place as me in a night club

One other thing - is it just me or is your menu green different to your 'atm' green? If it is, make it the same - the menu is a bit too lime for me

Overall, nice job

Re: Atmmultimedia

I agree. On a site like this the home page should be direct and to the point without being too wordy.
  • Who you are
  • What you do
  • Why you're good
Thats it. If they want to know/see more make sure your navigation is good and intuative and it will take care of itself.

Re: Atmmultimedia

My First Impression: GOOD SIMPLE DESIGN
Logo: CREATIVE

I like how you design your logo there but you could perhaps style the banner background where your logo reside. Add some effect, picture or anything other than a blank "blackground".
In your main page (Home) you could add some horizontal line to differentiate the section of your page. Currently, it looks hard to read since all the content is in one whole continues page!

Cheers...

It's just text - maybe thought went into the colours and font, but he didn't really "design" it.

A logo is a symbol that somehow represents your company.

I agree with you that it is not a logo, in fact it is just a banner!
I disagree with you that the "logo" is far from creative! It's a good looking "logo" to me!

My first impression on it is that I like to see it, nicely done. He just need to design a perfect creative logo that goes with the "ATMMULTIMEDIA" text. That's it!

Re: Atmmultimedia

It's 'good looking', yes, but definitely not creative.
