Major issues with your footer in IE6 (ALOT of white space and scrollbar) and minor in FF (a bit of white space underneath the footer and a scrollbar)

Re: Syntaxin - Biotechnology Firm

I guess I should mention you've got a few validation errors - you've used multiple instances of the same ID and have a few ampersands rather than
HTML: Select all
&
One other thing I should mention is the javascript dependency - the contact form & videos don't appear, and the expand/contract links for 'how to get here' get 401 errors. From a design perspective, very nice, clean site that seems consistent across FF, Opera, IE7 and IE6. I really like it

EDIT: I can't see any problems with the footer? It seems consistent across all the browsers I mentioned

Re: Syntaxin - Biotechnology Firm

thanks for the heads up on the ampersands - this was caused by a database driven news item - should be fixed now.

The problem with the repeating divs is an easy fix so should be able to fix this soon, and I think I know the problem with the footer so will look into that.

As for the expandable content (javascript) not displaying? could please tell what browser and OS you are using as obviously this is a huge concern - We tested in IE7, IE6 and FF and it is working fine.

You missed his point. It's not a browser issue; it's a javascript issue. Turn off javascript, then go to your contact page. You'll find that it's impossible to display the "quick contact form". The solution is simply to have all items visible by default, then hidden on page load by javascript.

Matt, you may want to check this post out regarding discrepancies between IE6 on Windows XP and 2000 and see if it applies to you.

Re: Syntaxin - Biotechnology Firm

Ok I've managed to get the footer fixed in IE6 to an extent (I was getting the same as Karinne's screenshot before)

Still trying to fix the vertical scrolling problem.

Re: Syntaxin - Biotechnology Firm

Besides the padding at the bottom of the site in IE, this is an awesome site!
You're a great designer
