Re: Tutorials Guru

You need to get your HTML and CSS code to validate:
http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...orialsguru.com
http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/v...orialsguru.com

Also, your top navigation has only two links. Add some more, categorized drop down menus would be good!

I quite like the design though.

Re: Tutorials Guru

i like this site. the design is simple but nice to look at. (not too sure about the adds in the middle of that green/black bar at the top, they break the bar and make it look a little odd)

the tutorials are easy to find and navigate.

the thing on the homepage to choose out of 5 stars isn't clear as to what it is, i only found out the numbers were connected to a rating by mousing over them and im not entirely sure what the rating is actually for. plus there are a few minor type-os on the homepage.

i am of the opinion that validation is important, even if no one knows that it does. im sure many other people are of the same opinion. and by using the strict doctypes you are making yourself a better coder.

going back to the green/black thing it annoys me each time i look, its such a minor thing, you should either finish off the edges somehow or make it so the background goes the whole width or something. also ive just noticed the horizontal lines in the background of the page jump every so often (every 19px infact) that is also a minor iritation.

all in all a good site. just some minor things let it down for me. attention to detail is everything, the odd little things always mess up an otherwise flawless site.
