Hi all...

I was recently retained to overhaul this company's site. The old one was 90's technology and BAD 90's at that. I used the Content Management System (which makes editing for the company really easy) along with rocket theme layout.

Please be honest with me...I am a neophyte, but I feel I did a pretty darn good job...(I read a lot!)

Take a look and then let me have it.

I know there are a couple issues and would gladly take advice if you know how to resolve them...for example the stretched out logo on the bottom left.

Re: GoLittleGuy

Looks real nice. I like the loud colors. The transparent effects are also cool!! Just the navigation on the left I don't like so much. Maybe you could make the text thicker and use a color-change on the hover instead of an underline (which is SOOO standard). Anyway, that my two cents on the looks.

CODE:
I validates -- nice, well done. (Now just code it without tables and as XHTML Strict 1.0....)

Re: GoLittleGuy

That sure is one nice looking site! I also love the transparent aspect of it and the bit of shininess it has.

I think the ONLY thing I can find that I'd correct (and I looked hard) is on the photo page. The little tan boxes that hold the photos and descriptions are random sizes in heights. I think I'd set a minimum height on them even if their is not much content to go in it.

Overall it's a top quality site! Nice job!

Re: GoLittleGuy

Pat yourself on the back... looks great!

Big problems with your frontpage though.
http://golittleguy.com/ doesn't redirect to http://golittleguy.com/cms/ properly. You should use http status 301 permanent redirect to http://golittleguy.com/cms/ to avoid problems.

You should also enforce www. (or no www.) because http://golittleguy.com/cms/ and http://www.golittleguy.com/cms/ are different URLs serving the same content.

Re: GoLittleGuy

I don't think the green 'toll free...' goes to well with the colours. also I think your navigation text should be white to match up with the other black 'modules'.

Other than that nice. Cracking stuff.
