Re: custom icon design

Looks very nice. Seems easy to use too! I'm surprised you didn't have fancier icons on your left navigation column! I would recommend a strict doc type rather than transitional as well.

Good job!

Re: custom icon design

I really like the site, and you have great portfolio items

I don't like the top navigation hover effect: yellow on pink is hard to read. Maybe red on pink instead?

You might consider removing your "valid XHTML" W3C button. Although you should be proud of your coding, your clients really don't care. Don't distract them.

When I first wrote valid code, I felt so pleased with myself that I plonked down "valid HTML", "valid CSS", and "WAI triple A standard" buttons on my site. Look at me everyone! My website is valid and accessible!

After a while, the novelty wore off. Writing valid, accessible code became normal -- nothing exciting -- and I removed the buttons.

Your code would be slightly better if you removed <br>s between paragraphs and used CSS instead.

Re: custom icon design

Very simple and clean, nice, you have stuck to simple design ad I think it works well, my only negative would be the green rollover on the main nav.

Re: custom icon design

Oh good god i think i've found a role model! for portfolio ideas at least.

Menu looks nice, simple but nice, though personally i'm not a fan of plain white backgrounds, but that's just me. Side menu looks nicely organized and attractive, but still a tad bland. As for your portfolio work, beautiful, but I need to talk about the site design.

Overall it looks nice, professional, and easy to navigate, though, like i sad, a little too basic for the background, not suggesting anything fancy, maybe just a different colour or a gradient, nothing to distract the user.

I might just use you guys some time once i can afford it (there's a reason i'm using FREEwebs)

Re: custom icon design

Change the hover effect on the top menu cos its difficult to read.

you've got super icon designs in your portfolio, very nice indeed.

I really like the site, looks very clean and professional.

Re: custom icon design

i think more breathing space should be given. the current layout looks to cramped and confused.
