So, It's basically copyright infringement, but you can't be held responsible...interesting. I'm not sure about the legality...

Well I can at least critique...

The header is too busy, maybe get all the characters on a white background beside the "Free Family Guy". And go easier on the outer glow there.

On the disclaimer page:
Quote:
If you fell like taking about this please you the Contact Form
...feel like talking about not fell like talking about.

Otherwise looks pretty good, I didn't look at your code.

Hope this helps!

Re: Free Family Guy

Alright...only the first season is up, but as your homepage states, you don't have everything up yet. So, a quick look at your 4 pages (Home, Disclaimer, Support Us, Contact):

In general, the site looks okay...layout wise it looks nice, but I'm not sure I'd use that color scheme - in particular, the main page looks rather bare. While it's true you don't want to clutter your main page, I'd like to see more on the main section than
Quote:
This site will be up and running in the next couple of days
The site will be finished and up and running in 2 days
Disclaimer: As far as I am aware, this disclaimer is perfectly fine, as you are only providing a link to the videos that are out on the internet. I'm pretty sure allsp.com (free southpark episodes) uses something like that.
However, after looking a more carefully, I noticed a couple things: For one, you have an extra '.' in the disclaimer (right below the second point). Secondly, why not use <li> elements (as opposed to artificially entering them)? Next, you don't have a title for your disclaimer. Finally, in addition to the fell/feel typo, on the same line you have "you" instead of "use".

Support Us is fine, Contact Us isn't yet on the site.

Looking at your code...being that you're using css, I don't see why you don't use that to specify everything about the images you use. It also seems like you changed the basic layout of things without changing the names of the divs.

Don't get me wrong, I like the layout of the site; if I wasn't actually paying attention to the particulars like my professor would I'd enjoy it quite a bit with few (if any) gripes. It just seems like there are some little things wrong with the site (better those than the "big things").

As for the views of each video: You should be able keep track of all of that; just add an extra column to your table (i.e., if you currently have something like "episodeID" and "episodeURL" as rows, add "views" to your table, and update it (I forget the exact sql code for incrementing a value by one, it should be simple enough though).

Here's a way of counting page views in PHP

http://www.spoono.com/php/tutorials/tutorial.php?id=4

As for the site. The banner is far to busy while the content is bare. I think this should be switched around.

I like the video pages though. Simple yet they look good. A back link would be nice though. Under the video maybe.

Also your site nearly validates. Just fix a couple of things and it'll be great.

Re: Free Family Guy

Site is cute!
I think the only thing I'd suggest is the color on the navigation. I think red like the logo would blend better!

Have fun!

I love family guy, what a show! I would be worried about infringement if I was you. The design is average in very way - add some character! :-)

Re: Free Family Guy

That's really cool. I'll definately be watching those videos sometime. The design is too subtle and nothing stands out enough. The left nav should just be blue on its normal state and then maybe green on its rollover state. Also, the header could use some prettying up. The left and right nav backgrounds should be a different color, like light green or blue instead of just white. Other than that, the site is easy to use, which is number one.

Re: Free Family Guy

Yea I really like the site now actually. Haven't checked code or validation but it looks clean and well organised. The header looks cool. Maybe in the future you could attempt something with higher quality graphics but its fine as it is.

Really like how the content is organised.

Nice effort.

Re: Free Family Guy

Just off topic a bit. Your blog isn't working properly. Firstly I can see snips of orignial unstyle h1 tags in areas of the page. and secondly when I clik to read the full artcile some of the text is chopped off.
