Hi everyone,
This is my first work in website design.. I am proud of my work. I would like to know what you think of the color scheme, and layout. Please look at all of the page, because it is a very simple and small site. I am aware that the "directions" box doesn't work on the Directions page and am fixing that soon. I appreciate your complements, and criticism.

Re: Nanas Cafe

Hello,

I just had a quick look through your website. Here are a few suggestion..

1) Don't use frames. These are bad for SEO among many other reasons.
2) I don't like the effect you used on the photographs in the picture gallery. Also, the one on the hompage is poor quality.
3) I think you used a bit too much yellow in the site.
4) You have 15 validation errors including, no DOCTYPE.

The menu looks delicious, though!

HOLY YELLOW BATMAN!

It's your first design so I'll give a *small* break

If you want to get into web design, here's the best tip you'll ever learn: DITCH FRONTPAGE!

Using Dreamweaver and the likes

Like Padraig said, don't use frames. They are not needed and they really suck for search engine purposes (SEO - Search Engine Optimization) and bookmarking.

To promote a cafe, you have to get better pictures than that. They look like they were taken with a camera-phone. Get someone with a good camera to take some nice professional-looking pictures.

The design ... not very good. Not up to par in the year that is 2007. Look here for some inspiration

Re: Nanas Cafe

As the others have said,
  • Don't use Frontpage. Anything but Frontpage.
  • Don't use frames. There's almost never a good reason to use frames.
