The Loop V2

Hey. I've redone The Loop. It looked really quite bad last time so I've done a re-design. I added some more content as well, and I know it still looks a bit like a template lol.

I think your navigation is a little off. The About and Contact are not underlined. Maybe those are the visited states? Not sure.

I would check your spelling on the About page. Computuing?? Also telling people the negative stuff about you is not going to endear anyone to you. I don't know what EMA is but it can't be good?
Also it's a turn off to toot your own horn and tell people you are good at web design. Let them decide that for themselves. Modesty and Humility will get you so much further in life.

The color scheme is a little drab. Why not try the bright blue as your background on the right column?

Otherwise looks good!

Spelling, blake121 yes....Your favorite auther's name is Terry Pratchett.....You really need to be careful about mistakes like these...clients will not be impressed it you can't spell words right or do not know how to use grammer. Remember, if you want to be a web designer....you are designing for your clients...not for yourself...If you want to be a professional you have to design like one.

I think your going to struggle to pick business up .... your site has a lot of speklling mistakes.... and im pretty sure that potential customers couldnt care less if you are a homeless bum with a meths problem ... all they care about is that you can deliver a qualirty product in a reasonable time ....... id go much much less personal ... and much much more proffessional if i were you ..... of course, it doesnt hurt to show your personality off.... but less life story esq would be a good direction i think.

OK fair enough. I've changed some content around and tried to fix some of that spelling. I'm sure there's more but I'll get to it, and to be fair you all spelled something wrong in your replies :P

Anyway, what do you think of the design? better than the old one or not?

I'd personally get rid of that line asap (on your about page), not really a good marketing tag line....

I would also like to see some examples of your work, a mini portfolio of your best work.

I think the design is pretty pleasing on the eye and the content is very good. It looks as though you have custom coded the webiste and for that you gain brownie points! be nice to maybe see a decent photographic in the hader to add an impact! keep up the good work.
