I'm working on a website for my father's communications business. I've tested it in Safari and Firefox and it looks fine. My father also looked at it in MSIE 7. I am aware that the use of transparent PNGs is not good for IE 6, and I know that the rollover images for the navigation should be combined (the "sliding doors" method). Otherwise, please help me improve the design. Many aspects of the site have been "set in stone" by my client, but it still needs quite a bit of tweaking as well as the addition of content on the print and clients page. First thing I noticed is that you need a copyright 2007 Meyers Comm Grp... why is that the first thing I noticed? I have no clue.

The one thing I like to see on sites like this is a photo of the owner. Since your dad is the main force behind this group, it would be nice to put a face behind. My opinion of course.

Testimonials would be a nice touch. Short snippets in italics placed here and there are such a powerful tool.

Once you get examples of work up I think you have a very nice site!

Absolutely agree with Lchad. It's a good site, easy navigation and well written text. Since this is a business site, you need to grab your audience and keep their attention. I am from the Plains states so I know the area you are in, but many people coming to the site have not a clue who the customers listed are. A more effective way to handle it might be linking pictures to the names. For example, the Y, If your father did media or design work for them let the potential customer see it. Remember, you are selling your fathers services and you need to show what makes him the best to use.
