UQ Web Design re-design

Redesigned my site over the past couple of days as a) I was fed up with the old one and b) I thought I could do better

Personally I'm really proud of it as it's a big improvement over my old one in my eyes, but any thoughts would be much appreciated

and I must note that the quote button took a little inspiration from Ryan's zengarden design (so thanks Ryan)

My evaluation is based in general, on my studies as an Internet applications programmer and specifically on information acquired through my E-Commerce studies.

I like the site because it looks clean and simple. I think your colour choice is good but
1. I don’t like the font size combination.
2. Too much empty space on either side of the web page. I think the space should be used for input, and the vertical scrolling reduced.
3. Users would feel more comfortable with a privacy policy on the .site
4. Good graphics should be used

Thanks, but I wanted to design the site to work correctly in 800x600. There isn't enough content for it to be a liquid layout.

I'll look into a privacy policy

You can always use max-width. There are some nice IE hacks available.
