No, at the top of the page it reads "Detroit Sports :: Index" Iwant it to say Detroit Sports Forum. How?

Read this How to edit your fora's header and footer. Includes information on how to specify your own, custom logo.
Long story short, you need to change the text with the <title>...<title> tags in the overall_header.tpl file
