University of Portsmouth Big Band Website

This is a website I have just finished for the University of Portsmouth Big Band, complete with custom content management system, gallery, recordings, admin logins, updatable page content etc...

Could I have your opinions please?

That header is beautiful

You're missing an <h1> and you should stick those sentences in <p> tags instead of using the <br />

On the Players page you have Why don't you use block quote in your css instead?
or if you don't want block quote add a left margin to the text formatting and do away with all that &nbsp;

And I'll look into replacing the text with <p> tags, does anyone know how I can do this when it's written by the users themselves and I'm just replacing all \n in the text with <br /> ?

Ah, my apologies. The reason I missed it is because it should be one of the first things inside the body tags. It should also be unique like the title. Both the title tags and H1 should be entirely different for every page of your site. This is all for SEO purposes.

I know it should be one of the first things, but with the layout as it is I can't do that... because the sidebar has to float right above it lol

You can use positioning to get around that in a snap, or you can float the content... There are quite a few ways to do that. At any rate, the content really should be the first thing on the page.
