My site is still a work in progress. I plan to change the footer to match the forums footer. And plan to make the forums nav match the stores nav.
I just made the store the width of the forum. Still trying to find any layout issues due to adding 200px to the width.

On the home page i do plan to add image above the content that gives more details about what my product does etc.

What do you think?

Re: Devilsown water injection

I quite like your design, it fits your product well, and appeals to me .... its nice to see comments in your code aswell ... the only thing id suggest is that at some point in the fututre you convert it to a CSS based layout.

You seem to have a strange mix of tables and css atm ..... looks like you had problems getting div columns to stay in the right places, as youve used divs for the header, but not the content area's

Re: Devilsown water injection

This is a pretty decent site.

But that "Alcohol Injection" in the banner is quite choppy and then that line right underneath, you can only see a bit of the word "water" because of the "j"

Design-wise ... not bad.

Re: Devilsown water injection

Thanks very much for your input.

I am kinda stuck on getting it all into divs. I really want to have the content on the right higher in the code than the left colum. Its just above my head.

Yea, been having fits with the text in the header. The forum and store have the same css but the font on page looks differnt. I like the fourms version better. But can't seem to fix the store.

If anyone has any more pointers i would apreciate the help.

My css file is also bloated so i need to shave it down.

Nice site.

One thing I noticed on the forum is that anytime you have a bullet that is located on the black background it has white edges. You'll need to fix that or make new ones for the black portion.

Re: Devilsown water injection

To get a right column higher than a left column, use "float right" and put it before the left hand column in the html flow. You just gravitate toward thinking left-to-right because you speak English, LOL - an Israelite would have no problem. HTML flows top to bottom - the lateral direction is (theoretically) completely flexible, it just defaults left because it has to default somewhere.

I like the page very much, although I might suggest thinking about an accent color. The top header is too crowded - why dont you just make it a few pixels higher? Excellent branding, excellent content emphasis.

Also, instead of or in addition to the (very nice) shopping cart button at the top, why not a button to a page where all products can be ordered?

You have a few slight fit problems in FF still. Sorry, this is the #1 headache of css.

Re: Devilsown water injection

I spent all night trying to get it to layout. I got the content to layout right just could not get the catgory boxes to come up. They where rendering on the right but at the bottom of the page.
You make it sound so easy.

Re: Devilsown water injection

mm i definitely like the silver/red combo, but i'm not sure i like the way the red bit sags down, i always like nice, slim and compact menus.
Also, is there anything you could do to the logo? it kinda looks like it has rough edges, maybe you could introduce some smoothe blur or shadow or something. Same goes for the shopping cart icon.
Apart from those little points though, i think the site's comming on well, keep it up!

Re: Devilsown water injection

Yea, i don't realy like my header, I think its just ok. one of them things i would like something differnt but don't know what i want that lends it self to the forum and store.

I usta have a shadow with it the font embosed. and looked pretty good. but when i try to make it clear around the image so i can float the image in it looks realy bad. I get a white line around some of it. I am not very expernced with photoshop. I was thinking about trying to do some sort of mirrored look to it and see if it will look better. I just honesty don't know what to do there.
