Re: um.flamelink.com
I read the Google vs. Microsoft story and left your site. You need to put a little thought into an introduction, the thesis and the conclusion of it. While most visitors won't think of these things, they'll be expecting them in your stories. Unless your articles have a solid beginning and ending, you'll never get loyal visitors.
Sorry to be harsh, but you must convince your readers that you're smarter than themselves for them to pay any attention to what you say. |

Re: um.flamelink.com
Hmm, a site simply needs to have content that someone finds interesting and I'm afraid the use of cliched google ads like that doesn't make me want to use it particularly.
They are a totally different colour to the rest of the site; presumbably to draw my eyes to them which it succeeds in doing, and thus I become uninterested in your site...but I don't click on them because they are just an eyesore. Also, what is the need for the frames? These belong in the web design museum these days. It doesn't even seem to serve any purpose so I strongly suggest you make your site more usuable and interesting to use from a user's perspective. |
